What Should I Expect at My First Visit?

Your first visit is a comprehensive assessment used to understand your mental health, identify any underlying conditions, and guide a personalized treatment plan. It typically includes a review of your current symptoms, personal and family mental health history, medical history, current medications, and relevant life circumstances (sleep, stress, relationships, substance use, etc.). This is the starting point for ongoing care, and follow-up visits build on it as your treatment plan is adjusted over time

Please furnish or bring any old records pertinent to your history, including neuropsychological testing, medication list, most recent lab data. This will only help expedite obtaining information necessary to help you. Be prepared to meet for at least 90 minutes.
