A-Lau Me To Help, P.C. is an independent nurse practitioner-led practice. Judy Lau Carino holds full practice authority under Illinois law and practices independently, without physician collaboration or supervision, within her licensed scope of practice.

Telehealth

Certain visits may be offered by live audio-video or telephone. Telehealth is available only to patients physically located in Illinois at the time of the visit.

Telehealth cannot provide a hands-on examination. Judy may determine that an in-person visit or referral is needed. Patients may decline telehealth and request an in-person visit.

The practice uses OptiMantra, which Judy reports maintains a Business Associate Agreement with the practice. A detailed telehealth consent will be reviewed at the first telehealth visit.

Prescriptions

Certain prescriptions, including controlled substances, may be subject to additional federal and state requirements and may not be available through telehealth alone
